Healer’s Kit Revised

A Healer’s Kit contains herbs, bindings, salves, tinctures, and other field remedies useful for treating wounds. It has ten uses.

As a Utilize action, you can expend one of its uses to stabilize an Unconscious creature that has 0 Hit Points without needing to make a Wisdom (Medicine) check.

Alternatively, you can expend one use of this kit to tend to a stable creature taking a Short Rest or a Long Rest. Choose a number of Hit Points from 1 to 6, then make a Wisdom (Medicine) check. The DC equals 10 plus the number chosen. On a successful check, the creature regains the chosen number of Hit Points. On a failed check, the creature regains no Hit Points. If the check fails by 5 or more, the creature loses Hit Points equal to the chosen number.
