This green, pointed hat has a wide, floppy brim. If you hold this item in your hand, you can ask a single question concerning a specific goal, event, or activity to occur within 7 days. The hat turns into a small chalkboard in your hand and a truthful answer appears there in chalk. The reply might be a short phrase, a cryptic rhyme, or an omen. Armed with this knowledge, you can attempt to thwart this prediction if you choose.  

The chalkboard reverts to a hat after 1 minute has elapsed. Once you have used this item, you cannot use it again until the following dawn.
