Morbid Gum

This black, spongy substance smells and tastes like fennel. If you use an action to chew it, you immediately fall prone. For 1 hour, you appear dead to all outward inspection and to spells or magic items used to determine the status of your health. You are blinded and incapacitated, and your speed drops to 0, but you remain conscious and can still hear if you were not previously deaf. You do not need to breath and you have resistance to all damage except psychic damage. Disease and poison have no effect on you while you remain in this state. Once the gum has been chewed, it loses its magic.
